Five things we do well — and a clear note on what we don't.
A deliberate, narrow practice. If a matter doesn't fit, we'll tell you on the first call and refer you on.
Property & land documentation
Promotion, option and collaboration agreements; consultant engagement; JV and co-investment papers. Where the registered-land side needs a conveyancer, we bring one in. Twenty years' depth — from inside a city planning division and a current strategic-land role.
Read moreContracts & commercial
Service and consultancy contracts, NDAs, SaaS and licensing terms, agency and distribution agreements, website terms. Most reviews returned within 24–48 hours.
Read moreCorporate & founders
Company formation, shareholder and founders' agreements, board minutes, and corporate housekeeping. For teams that want clean records without law-firm overheads.
Read morePrivacy, GDPR & data protection
Privacy notices, DPIAs, DPAs, SAR workflows. Aligned with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Practical, proportionate, audit-ready.

Taran Legal is led by Dmytro Taran. Twenty years of practice in property, land, planning and commercial work — nine of them inside Kharkiv City Council's Urban Planning & Land Affairs Division (the final twenty months as Head of Division), followed by nine years running a boutique commercial law firm, Taran Buro. Today the practice is based in Tunbridge Wells and serves UK and international clients.
Taran Legal is for businesses and founders who want commercial legal support without the overheads of a traditional law firm — a single named lawyer on the matter, scope and price agreed in writing, and a clear view of what falls inside and outside our remit.
